My business is based in Atlanta, GA, United States, where I've been living since 2008.

My story of abuse, rejection, suffering, surviving, and succeeding has been summarized by Katharine Pike, a good friend of mine - she wrote this for my book and website. I feel like sharing with you would be very appropriate to help us get to know each other better. So, here it is...

"Anna Stevens is the emotional intelligence maven and the founder of EQ for Success, LLC - an Atlanta-based consulting, training, and coaching company, where she helps people understand how emotions affect their behaviors, actions, relationships, productivity, and success. A Russia native, Anna lives and works in the United States. Using her seventeen years of international experience in personal development, Anna helps professionals reach their highest potential.

Talented and ambitious...

Many find it remarkable that Anna taught herself to speak and write in English in less than 1.5 years. Others are amazed with Anna's extraordinary educational background - she graduated from a teaching school with a teacher's certificate, business school with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, and law school with a Juris Doctor degree - all with high honors. She will soon be adding an MBA from Georgia State University, J. Mack Robinson College of Business to the strong list of her credentials; and she accomplishes that while successfully running her own business as a solopreneur and being married with two stepchildren. Perhaps, you find Anna's life remarkable now, but it wasn’t always this way...

Homeless, hopeless and helpless...

Just a few short years ago, Anna became a victim of domestic violence and was living in one of Atlanta's shelters for abused women and children. Confused, frightened, and not speaking one word of English, Anna was homeless, hopeless, and helpless in a foreign country. She had no social connections, no family within 5,000 miles, was sick and at the very edge of her strength.

From a victim to a victor...

Having realized that a victim mentality wasn't a good fit for her, Anna used her own know-how of mind power and emotional intelligence to restore herself and rebuild her life. Starting from zero, she has chosen a proactive approach to solving her numerous problems. Despite her educational credentials and great professional experience, she set out to make a living cleaning houses and being a dog nanny while learning English, making connections, and volunteering at a local courthouse, where she was within a short time hired to work. Applying the tools she developed over the years, Anna overcame significant obstacles she had been forced to face and became free, successful, and happy. With her outstanding self-coaching program, Anna turned herself from a victim to a victor!

Happily-ever-after...

Today, Anna uses her proven strategies for success to help business professionals elevate their performance and boost their bottom-line. Since she established her own small consulting company, Anna has helped many people, appeared on TV, multiple radio programs and magazines, and presented for a variety of audiences, sharing her insightful solutions to help others build success, happiness, and wellness.

Anna is married to a GA chiropractor Dr. Philip Day, has two stepsons, Philip and Alan, and a dog name Bruno, whom she rescued from an animal shelter. In her spare time, Anna enjoys networking in the Atlanta’s business community, traveling, and volunteering."
